In Northern California the hillsides tend to become unstable during the winter months when our seasonal rainstorms can drop several inches of water on a hillside in a single day. 

When the slopes fail, there are several methods available to address the movements, all with different costs depending upon location, geometry and required post-construction stability of the slope.
